General Hospital and The Young and the Restless Lead the Daytime Emmy Nominations
The nominees for the 42nd annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday, and The Young and the Restless and General Hospital lead the pack. ABC’s General Hospital leads all shows with 28 nominations and CBS’ The Young and the Restless finished second with 25. They were followed by CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful’s 19 nods and NBC’s Days of Our Lives’ 16.
As for the networks, CBS ruled the daytime game with 62 nominations in total. PBS followed with 50, ABC had 35, and NBC snagged 20.The 42nd annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be broadcast live Sunday, April 26 at 8/7c on Pop.
